My work reflects myself about how I see life. I want to express heartfelt beauty within a stone piece. Elegance, line, simple form and ancient cultural background help me to channel out my feelings into a rock. Everything must achieve balance and movement within my pieces.
I intend to create melodies of peace, dignity, and quiet strength in each sculpture that I finish. I want perfection, personal style and new ideas to show up in my work. The Eagle, Ancient Spirits and Deities guide me. The spirit of woman intrigues me. That is why I enjoy carving them, to honor them.
There is a quiet need to find a unique style that I can call my own. It is difficult and challenging to see if I can inspire myself to find that certain blend of qualities to create a successful piece. I am fortunate to have had powerful mentors in my past to guide me in my early years. Passing on this wisdom and knowledge to others helps me to continue on my chosen path of beauty.
